In this version of Pinocchio the story was told through the use of toys and puppets located inside Geppetto's work shop. For Pinocchio's trip to FunLand we needed a carnival that could appear quickly and represent the large scale rides described in the script. This scale model carnival was rigged to rise out of it's chest as the lid was pulled open. Complete with lights, working Ferris Wheel and Roller Coaster.
